i like sxsw. i like to drink beer at it and go see music bands at it. i like the theater fire. they are a good band i like.

The hater seems to spend too much time on about 3 websites. Because other than wsjr, g v b, and myspace, I never see shit about any local bands period. Go get some sun.

nasty, nasty, nasty. most of the bands being dissed haven\'t played sxsw before! and what\'s wrong with playing sxsw, mic checka? most of these folks know that they\'re not going to get a big break at sxsw (although i\'ve seen it happen with at least one denton band), but it\'s totally worth it to go play some shows to a different crowd and have the ability to go and see all kinds of others shows for free. concerning the negative comments about bands - sure, you got a right to your opinion. don\'t listen! the stanton meadowdale stuff seems personal, though. lyle deserves a bit better than that

Naked Raygun alone is worth the trip to Austin. Hopefully they add a Dallas show

record hop is way overrated. they\'re boring, and i\'m sick of seeing their name everywhere. ashley cromeen\'s solo stuff is far more interesting. sonic youth has been there, done that, and did it better. get a grip dfw.

I am gay and so I have to agree that Mom is way overrated and over-hyped much like Ghosthustler. It\'s not my cup of tea but still I think they\'re getting way too much attention for what they are.
