Select of Central Booking just sent us a pretty nice little mix tape featuring many of the biggest local hip hop hits of the past several months plus. He couldn't have picked a better time to do it either, as the local hip hop scene has been flying quite high over the past year or so, thanks in no small part to local radio play on K104 and 97.9 the Beat (especially the latter), where you've been able to hear a lot of these tracks on a regular basis. Kinda makes the Dallas "rock" scene look like, uh, well, not much of anything really. Track list (click here to download)
