TUES: Tokyo Police Club/Ra Ra Riot/White Denim (House of Blues)

SAT: Teenage Cool Kids/Koji Kondo/Angry Businessmen/Dance of Days(Secret Headquarters)
SUN: Pelican/Clouds/Fatal Flying Guillotine (Hailey's)

I just happened to hear of them via a podcast. I wrote to them and they said they were gonna be in denton soon on a 40 date US tour. I'm anxiously awaiting. It'd be a cool show at sloppyworld too, if that is open by then.

I saw HEALTH a while back in Shreveport and they completely killed it. I'm really looking forward to their full length in September I think.

I like Health a lot... I'm pretty sure they are playing at 8th Continent in October.

Since this post really isn't about anything. I thought I'd take the chance to plug a band I heard of that is pretty cool, even if they are from LA.

we got pushed up to 9pm from 11pm (apparently there was a mix up with times and players)so CTR is going on at 9pm according to the booker

when is CTR at Haileys?

I'm told they're going to play "Mother (of the Ancient Birth)."

Ah thanks for the heads up on Tyson Meade. His solo stuff isn't anything compared to Chainsaw Kittens, but maybe we'll get an acoustic "waltz across debris" or some shit, and he's a really cool dude so check it out.

Friday, August 3 @ Rubber Gloves:

The Theater Fire
The Silver Pines (from austin)
& The Lennings (also from austin)

Tyson.. as in... from the Chainsaw Kittens? um.. wtf? cool

For some reason Blogger won't allow me to edit the list at this moment, but I'll do it when I can.
