Ten Silver Drops sucks royally. Except possibly 'daddy's in the doldrums' - but I think I just tell myself that so I'm not so pissed off that I bought it.

the Starlight Mints are really, really good. you might want to reconsider the not liking them for them name and give a listen.

I agree, it is a terrible name, and a terribly peppy Lips-esque indie pop band. Sort of like what the Secret Machines somehow devolved into after such a promising start. Indie pop. bah.

p.s. it's bear suits, or it was on the Beck tour. And giraffe suits.

starlight mints was one of the bands that I automatically decided I disliked based soley on their name.

that doesn't happen very often, but that is a terrible name. really.

if you're refering to the starlight mints as flaming lips sound alikes....you might want to pick up an album and re think that. of course, you can tell they're influenced by them, but i'd hardly call them a "soundalike". they sound pretty original to me.

What the hell is the deal w/ the Flaming Lips soundalikes. Do they all wear bear suits too?
