1. Black Arm Band | Silk Stocking | Fra Pandolf (The Cavern)
I hope the Cavern can handle the sound explosion that will occur tonight. Should be a great show. Come on Dallas, take a break from Radiant, Christian Emo and the Deathray Warhols and check out something a little different tonight.

2. You are The Universe | Violent Squid | Andrew Michael Hilburn (8th Continent)
The noisy and adventerous side of the Denton scene will be in full effect here tonight. Its at 731 Texas St. in Denton. Google it, bitch.

3. Washing Machine (Club Dada)
Yeah, its in Deep Ellum at a lame club. What can you do? None of us have seen Washing Machine live in concert, but we bet it will be worth it.

4. Smile Smile | Prayer for Animals | Teenage Symphony (Darkside Lounge)
Frank from Frequency Down recently said that Teenage Symphony was one of the local bands that he was getting excited about. Go to their Myspace page and listen.... you will probably get excited too. How they will sound live is anyone's guess, but we really like what we hear on Myspace, especially "Lucky." Sort of like if Spacemen 3 and the Beach Boys started a marching band.

they were ok, it would be nice to NOT have the ahhhhh ahhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh vocals on every song.

I did see Teenage Symphony on Saturday. They were the highlight of the night. Perfect melodies, with all 5 members singing. The music was unbelievable: bouncy piano and keyboards mixed with jangly 12 string guitar. Amazing. See them every chance you get!

Missed The Lights of Dragna...so sad for me. Guitar solo....

Washing Machine sounded great for their second show. Great fun at Dada, $2 frozen margaritas, fun go go girls, had a blast!

Fra Pandolf rocked AND rolled. The entire show was uber awesome.

Fra Pandolf kicks mucho ass. My whole crew was left very impressed.

The Cavern show was a lot of fun. We got a lot more positive feedback than I was expecting.

Good times.

the lollipop show went alright. we could've been better. that, and 9 people on dada's stage = barely enough room to stand in one place.

Teenage Symphony was great. Ambitious, but they pull it off.

Props to the sound guy tonight!
Excellent results!

Washing Machine and Lollipop Shoppe, now theres a sweet combination!

that show at doublewide would be a lot of fun: Spitfire Tumbleweeds, Phillip Roebuck , 100 Damned Guns

nina simone, mahalia jackson. only one place to hear the true gospel tonight.

How the hell can I be 3 places at once tonight!?! I'll probably start at Darkside, head over to Dada, then end up at Cavern.
